SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES TO MARK INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

During the week of 15 al 18 March 2011 were various events to celebrate the International Day Women, collaboration with Local Council for Equal Inheritance.


Day 15, M ª Dolores Portillo gave a lecture entitled "The Untold Story of Women."

Among the activities planned also spoke at a gathering on the implementation of the new Law of Equality in Castilla La Mancha, who was in charge of Lola Bolaños, attorney with the Center for Women and a play "heartthrob the Membrilla "in collaboration with the Area of \u200b\u200bCulture of the City.



On March 18, five women were honored at the People, in order to see its hard work and dedication in patriarchal society and with great difficulty for women:

Antonia Díaz Fernández -Meco "Antonia seamstress"

-Gloria Corrales Moraleda "The Glorieja"

Iniesta -Pepa "La Pepa"

Carmen García-Navas "La Pretola"

Baillo -Dolores Fernández.

Also from the Local Council for Equal Inheritance delivered a proposal to the City, so that future streets have the names of these women.

The event ended with several monologues.
