Kangura ENDS SUMMER PROGRAM
Yesterday, August 31, ending Kangura Summer program, a resource funded by the City Council Heritage and the Institute for Women's Castilla La Mancha, among its objectives is facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life of parents.
This service has been providing since 2005 at the request of the person concerned, but it was in 2007 when it was offered a service of kangaroos for the summer period in response to the request of many parents. Each year the resort has a better reception as there are many applications that demand it, this year were 73 and 50 families are those that have benefited, serving more than 60 children during these two months.
Kangura The resource has been adapted to the needs of families, because each has claimed in the period and time needed, being able to apply for weeks or months quinenas complete. The key criterion (though others have also reviewed) for selection, has been that both mother and father were working in the period demanded. Have been delivered
assessment questionnaires to mothers and fathers that their sons and daughters, have benefited this year to assess the quality, appropriateness, continuity of action and the results have been positive, as all families consider it a great resource to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life. Among the suggestions made is also providing this service during the Christmas school holidays.
